Hormone Health
Stress, Cortisol & the Adrenal Fatigue Question
The hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal axis, or HPA axis, is part of the body’s stress-response system. Cortisol is one of its hormones. It is different from adrenal insufficiency, which requires clinical assessment and treatment.
PCOS: Symptoms, Diagnosis, Acne & Nutrition Support
Polycystic ovary syndrome, or PCOS, is a hormonal and metabolic condition that can affect ovulation, periods, hair and skin. Some people have acne or excess hair growth, while others have different symptoms. Diagnosis uses a combination of findings after other explanations have been considered.
